Konstantin Chemeris
Pushchino, Moscow region

Specialist in visual arts. Member of the Russian Union of Photographic Artists. Many-time winner of the Russian State Photographic Art Award. Author of a personal exhibition within the framework of the First Russian Fine Art Photo Festival.

In his work, Konstantin uses a pictorialist approach with an emphasis on experimentation, mostly in the field of landscape photography. In his work, he prefers to utilize the monochrome palette. By applying modern digital techniques, he seeks to obtain a kind of graphics suggestive of the pencil drawing or photographic images at the dawn of the XX century. By selecting the subjects where the powers of Nature prevail over man and the things he makes, he strives for achieving psychological contiguity in the images he creates.
