Konstantin Chemeris
Pushchino, Moscow region

Specialist in the field of fine art. Member of the Union of Photographers of Russia. Repeated winner of the State Photography Scholarship. Author of two photo books. Conducts artistic experiments, mainly in the genre of landscape. Prefers to use monochrome. He strives for the psychological associativity of the images he creates, choosing subjects in which the forces of nature prevail over man and his creations.

In the early works, the author, using digital technology, achieves graphicality, referring the viewer to the pencil drawing and photographic images of the early 20th century. Later works, beginning in 2017, become sharper and more contrasting. The light tonality of the pictorial period is replaced by a gloomy contemplation of the traces of time, continuously and irrepressibly flowing through space.

Biography
1970 - was born in the city of Pushchino (Moscow region) into a family of scientists
1996 - graduated from the Oryol Pedagogical University with a degree in Fine Arts with a diploma project Etching
1997 - started teaching drawing at the Pushchino art school
2000 - admitted to the Pushchino Photo Club
2010 - admitted to the Union of Russian Photographers
