Exhibition “Depth”. Pushchino, 2023
The “Depth” project was formed during short expeditions-immersions into an environment unusual for a city dweller in remote villages and villages in central Russia. By capturing time as it continuously and uncontrollably flows through space, the author endows his landscapes with a special symbolic meaning. Developing the theme of psychological landscape in photography, over the past few years the author has created about 150 works.
The exhibition shows part of the project. The exhibition features landscape photographs depicting one rainy day among nameless buildings in the Central Russian landscape of one of the many villages of the Kaluga region.
Most of the works were included in the series “Redkino (2022, July)”
At the opening of the exhibition, the author showed control prints of the entire project and spoke about the principles of forming the collection, its semantic and aesthetic components.
In addition to the main exhibition, visitors can familiarize themselves with two photo books, created by the author in 2020.
The author is a specialist in the field of fine arts, a member of the Union of Russian Photographers, and a multiple winner of the State Scholarship in the field of photography. Author of two photo books. Conducts artistic experiments, mainly in the landscape genre. Prefers to use a monochrome palette. Strives for psychological associativity of the created images, choosing plots in which the forces of nature dominate man and his creations.
The “Depth” project was created with the support of the State Scholarship of the RF Ministry of Culture for outstanding cultural and artistic figures.

The exhibition features 22 works:
11 pcs ~14x21 cm (frame 28x35 cm)
8 pcs ~20x30 cm (frame 40x50 cm)
3 pcs ~40x60 cm (frame 60x80 cm)
The works are framed in black thin Nielsen frames, milk-colored passepartout, without glass. All works are available for subsequent exhibition in the original design.
